Branding

Türkiye İş Bankası has chosen I Mean It Creative as their partner for the naming and visual corporate identity of a museum. This museum represents a strategic gift from İşbank to Turkey in commemoration of the Republic's 100th anniversary.

The ‘Türkiye İş Bankası Collection’ is a remarkable assemblage of over 2,500 artworks from more than 950 artists, including renowned figures like Osman Hamdi Bey, Şeker Ahmet Pasha, İbrahim Çallı, and Hikmet Onat. It stands as one of the most extensive private collections of Turkish painting and sculpture. This collection will now find its unique home at “rhm” with a fresh identity.

The transformation of a building that once housed the Beyoğlu Branch of Türkiye İş Bankası, and held the status of a registered cultural asset, into a painting and sculpture museum has been long-awaited.
This extensive project, carried out under the umbrella of İş Sanat, an institution engaged in various cultural and artistic fields spanning from music and plastic arts to museum management and archaeological support, has been completed over a period of more than a year.

The design of the museum’s logo takes inspiration from the historical and iconic architecture, particularly the round-arched columns gracing the façade facing Istiklal Street. A unique typeface, meticulously crafted exclusively for this museum, will be featured in all communication materials, serving as a distinct element.
In addition to the visual identity design, I Mean It Creative has taken on the responsibility of creating the launch campaign and fulfilling all digital requirements for the museum.

The artwork ‘Girl with a Piggy Bank’ and others play a significant role in the campaign, meeting the needs of the museum store. This is especially relevant given the prominence of Turkish paintings in the museum’s collection.

I Mean It Creative collaborated with Oğuzhan Cengiz, a prominent font designer in Turkey, for the creation of the unique font designed for this project.
