Packaging

While creating a new packaging design for Eyüp Sabri Tuncer’s organic toothpaste series, we at I Mean It Creative realized that it was an exciting but challenging project.

Here are a few points in I Mean It’s creative process;

Research your target audience:

Before we start designing, it’s important to understand who is our target audience and what they’re looking for in an organic toothpaste. This information will help guide our design decisions and ensure that the final product appeals to our target market. We realized that ’simplicity’ was the way to go.

Study the competition:

Our team at I Mean It Creative looked at what other brands are doing in the same market and identify both the strengths and weaknesses of their packaging designs. This will help us identify what works well and what we can improve upon.

Define the brand’s personality:

We consider the overall personality of Eyüp Sabri Tuncer brand and how we want that to be reflected in the packaging design. For example, Eyup Sabri Tuncer’s brand is eco-friendly, so we incorporate elements like green leaves, natural herbs, recycled materials, gluten free-vegan icons and sustainable packaging into our design.

Consider the packaging format:

We thought about the type of packaging we want to use, such as a tube, jar, or pump bottle, and how that will impact your design.

Use imagery and color:

We selected images and colors that match the brand’s personality and will appeal to our target audience. Organic toothpastes often use natural and calming colors, like whites, greens, blues, and earth tones. We also want to consider incorporating imagery of herbs, like leaves or flowers, to reinforce the organic aspect of the product.

Be legible:

I Mean It Creative makes sure the text and branding elements are clear and easy to read. This is especially important for the product name and the ingredients list, which need to be easily visible and readable.

Test and refine:

Once we’ve created a design, we test it with our target audience to get their feedback. We use their input to refine and improve the design until we have a final product that accurately represents Eyup Sabri Tuncer’s brand and appeals to our target market.
