Baroque Energy Reimagined
Poster design for Les Talens Lyriques at İŞ Sanat
For their much-anticipated performance of Bach’s Cantatas and Arias for Alto, featuring the extraordinary Zoltan Drago, the renowned French musical ensemble Les Talens Lyriques will bring the elegance and power of Baroque music to life at İŞ SANAT.

Established in 1991 in Paris by harpsichordist and conductor Christophe Rousset, Les Talens Lyriques are celebrated for their mastery of a broad repertoire, spanning from Early Baroque to the Romantic era. Their performances range from lyrical works to madrigals, sacred music, and symphonies, with ensembles that vary in size, showcasing their incredible versatility. With a commitment to rediscovering forgotten gems and illuminating the great masterpieces of musical history, Les Talens Lyriques are a beacon of cultural preservation and innovation.

For this concert’s poster, I Mean It Creative designed a visual concept that embodies the essence of Baroque splendor and musical energy. The central figure—a character dressed in an elaborate Baroque costume—is framed by a deconstructed outline of a musical instrument, symbolizing the structured beauty of classical music. Surrounding this elegant figure, dusty explosions burst forth, representing the dynamic and powerful energy of the music performed by Les Talens Lyriques.

This design celebrates the ensemble’s mission to combine historical authenticity with vibrant energy, much like their approach to championing rare and significant works in the European musical heritage. The imagery invites the audience to step into a world where the past and present collide in a symphony of sound and vision.
