Event Branding

For Hiromi’s IS SANAT concert poster, our founder and celebrated illustrator Emrah Yücel crafted a stunning manga-style abstract portrait. This design pays homage to her Japanese heritage while embodying the avant-garde spirit of her music. The abstract elements convey the fluidity of her genre-bending compositions, while the bold, dynamic lines evoke her electrifying live performances.

Hiromi: A Force of Musical Fusion

Hiromi Uehara, known professionally as Hiromi, is a true innovator in the world of jazz. Born in Hamamatsu, Japan, she began her musical journey at the age of six and quickly evolved into a global sensation. Blending genres like stride, post-bop, progressive rock, classical, nu jazz, and fusion, her compositions and performances are electric, energetic, and unforgettable. From performing with the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra at 14 to sharing the stage with Chick Corea as a teenager, Hiromi’s career is a testament to her unparalleled talent and fearless creativity.

Her artistry has taken her from the halls of Berklee College of Music, where she was mentored by jazz legends like Ahmad Jamal, to the international stage, including her performance at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics opening ceremony. Hiromi’s music is a kaleidoscope of influences, and we sought to capture that vibrancy in her concert poster.

IS SANAT: A Platform for Uniqueness

This project is part of our ongoing collaboration with IS SANAT, a venue renowned for showcasing global talent and curating memorable cultural experiences. Each concert poster we design for IS SANAT is crafted to celebrate the individuality of the featured artist, and Hiromi’s was no exception. Her poster is a reflection of her boundless energy, her innovative spirit, and her ability to mesmerize audiences worldwide.

At I Mean It Creative, we believe that great art deserves great design. For Hiromi, we combined the essence of her music with the visual language of her heritage, creating a piece that’s as unique and dynamic as the artist herself.
